Creation Time
Orders usually take 3-5 business days to create, but production time typically increases during sales, product releases, and holidays. Please keep in mind that we are a small business and create everything by hand, just for you!
Shipping Time
Once your order has been created (see creation time above), orders are shipped via USPS First Class mail by default unless an upgrade is chosen. First Class Mail ship time varies between 3-5 business days.
Insured Shipping
We strongly suggest selecting Insured Shipping. Shell Dance Designs is not liable for any lost or stolen packages during transit and It is the customers responsibility to contact the post office if a package goes missing or arrives damaged.
Rush Orders
If you need an order rushed, you must get approval by contacting us at info@shelldancedesigns.com.
Change or Cancel Order Once Placed
We start the jewelry making process right away, so we do not allow changes to the order once it has been placed. If the order has not been stamped or started yet, we'll do our best to accommodate a cancellation or change. Email info@shelldancedesigns.com ASAP with your first and last name, order number, and request a cancellation/change. We however cannot guarantee that we can make these adjustments before production has started. *Please note: We are unable to cancel or change orders that have started production.
Tracking your Order
You will receive an email with a link to your tracking number when your order leaves our studio, so you can follow its journey right to your door.
Lost Package
If your package is lost in transit, please contact your local Postal Service. If you purchased Insured shipping you can file a claim with USPS, so they can begin the attempt to recover or refund you for the lost package.
Returns / Exchanges
Returns / Exchanges
We offer returns on eligible items for exchange and/or store credit only. We do not offer refunds on any return orders. All return requests must be made within 7 days of the order date and must be clean, unworn, and have no signs of wear or damage. Certain pieces are always final sale (please refer to the Final Sale guide below).
Sets can only be returned or exchanged as a set. No individual item of a set can be returned for refund, store credit and/or size exchange.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Final Sale Items
Please note that the following items are not eligible for a return or exchange at any time.
- Custom Orders & Personalized jewelry: all custom orders or hand stamped and/or engraved are final sale and are not eligible for a return or exchange at any time.
- Sale or Clearance items: pieces with prices ending in .99 are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.
- Body Jewelry: all body jewelry items (arm cuffs and anklets) are final sale and are not eligible for a return or exchange at any time. Please take extra care and attention when selecting your size for these jewelry pieces. Some minor repairs and adjustments are accepted, if feasible.
